David Kal%C4%81kaua Kaw%C4%81nanakoa


David Kalkaua Kawnanakoa , also known as Prince Koke, was a member of the House of Kawnanakoa and the only son of Prince David Kawnanakoa and Princess Abigail Campbell Kawnanakoa.

He was born on March 10, 1904, at Honolulu, Oahu. He was christened at the St. Augustines Church on May 22, 1904. His siblings were Abigail Kapiolani Kawnanakoa and Lydia Liliuokalani Kawnanakoa.166 He was educated abroad due to his fathers status as a former prince and politician. He attended O ahu College, Fay School, in Southborough, Massachusetts Taft School, Watertown, Connecticut, and Belmont Military Academy, Belmont, California. Kawnanakoa served in World War II with the US Coast Guard.
